Due to the particular physical strain involved in cleaning activities when working more than 8 hours daily (Section 3, Paragraph 1 of the Working Time Act) or more than 40 hours weekly, and to prevent these additional burdens, employees receive, for working hours exceeding 8 hours daily, or alternatively
for hours worked beyond 40 hours per week
a supplement of 25%.
