Christian Kwiatkowski is an entrepreneur who knows the ups and downs of business life from his own experience. As early as 2012, he founded his first company in the building cleaning industry. It quickly grew to 40 employees, but the burdens that came with this success were enormous. Christian took on almost all tasks himself and often worked to the point of exhaustion. A lack of digital processes ultimately led him to sell the company in 2018 – a decision he made out of sheer necessity.
After the sale, he withdrew from business life for several years, dedicating himself to personal recovery and analyzing the mistakes he had made in the past. “I was the biggest slave in my own company,” he recalls. A sabbatical followed, during which he reordered his priorities and reconnected with his family. But the passion for running his own business never left him.
In 2022, after the pandemic, Christian decided to make a fresh start. He founded CleanJoyment, a building cleaning company specializing in glass and maintenance cleaning for schools, kindergartens, and office buildings. This time, he wanted to do things better: with a clear corporate structure, digitized processes, and a focus on sustainability. He is supported by the software solution PlanD, which not only helps him save time but also enables a balance between work and private life. Today, CleanJoyment is not only a successful company but also a symbol of how one can learn from mistakes and reconcile professional and personal goals.

After founding CleanJoyment, Christian specifically sought a solution to avoid the mistakes of his first company. His past experiences were marked by inefficient processes, overwork, and a lack of work-life balance. He knew that a digital solution was necessary not only to work more efficiently but also to reduce stress and ensure long-term success.
Christian tested various software solutions and initially used a competitor's software, but it did not meet his expectations. "The operation was anything but intuitive, and it didn't feel like a long-term solution," he explains. An internet search eventually led him to PlanD. Its user-friendly interface, features like the digital weekly schedule, and seamless integration of existing data quickly convinced him.
The ability to implement processes tailored to his individual needs was also an important deciding factor. The easy transition from his old software to PlanD particularly facilitated the switch. Since then, CleanJoyment has been using PlanD – with visible successes in organization, customer care, and employee satisfaction.
Christian uses PlanD to efficiently plan the assignments of his now over 20 employees and subcontractors. With the drag-and-drop function in the digital weekly schedule, changes can be made quickly and clearly. Employees receive notifications about their assignments directly on their app, which greatly simplifies communication.
PlanD enables the documentation of customer inquiries, quality checks, and internal tasks via a ticketing system. Every step is recorded transparently, including photos and notes. "I didn't have anything like this before – today I can ensure that everything is done on time and properly," says Christian.
Material orders are centrally organized via the software. This gives Christian an overview of the inventory at all times and allows him to avoid bottlenecks early on.
The translation function in the employee app has proven to be a great advantage, especially in a multicultural team. "My Indian colleague writes in English, and I write in German – PlanD translates automatically for us. That saves time and prevents misunderstandings," Christian reports.
Cleaning schedules, performance records, and soon invoicing will be handled digitally via PlanD. Starting in January, Christian plans to fully automate the invoicing processes to free up additional resources for strategic tasks.
With CleanJoyment, Christian Kwiatkowski has not only founded a successful company but also created a new quality of life for himself and his family. PlanD plays a central role in this: The software has fundamentally modernized workflows, allowing Christian to focus on the essentials. "I have time again for my family and strategic decisions – something I sorely missed before."
For the future, CleanJoyment plans to continue growing and specialize in long-term major projects. There are already inquiries from cinema and gym chains, which Christian will examine more closely in the coming months. He also wants to further advance the automation of his business processes and invest in areas such as sustainability and robotics.
