D.Weber Building Cleaning is a true long-standing company. Founded in 1982 as a small window cleaning business, the company grew over decades into an established provider of cleaning services with over 250 employees. From window and maintenance cleaning to managing 100 kindergartens, the company offers a wide range of services. The next generation of the Weber family has been leading the company into the future for several years, where PlanD also plays a central role in the digitalization and redesign of processes.

The necessity of replacing existing software with a new solution led D.Weber GmbH to PlanD. Previously, the company used an industry-specific solution, but its operation was discontinued in 2023. The search for a new provider was crucial for Weber GmbH to take the next step in digitalization and further simplify its internal processes. During the selection process, PlanD impressed with its intuitive usability, clear structure, and comprehensive support during implementation.
A total of ten providers were evaluated, with PlanD quickly making the shortlist due to its excellent presentation and easy communication. Other providers appeared less intuitive and confusing in their structure, while PlanD immediately impressed with its clear processes and high user-friendliness – especially for the mobile application, which facilitates adaptation for employees.
Thanks to PlanD, time tracking is managed through a user-friendly, digital system that provides a clear overview for cleaning staff and site managers. Previously, timesheets had to be laboriously returned to the office by mail or by hand, often leading to errors, queries, and delays. The central overview in PlanD allows administration to record times daily and address discrepancies directly.
Material orders are now processed efficiently via PlanD: cleaning staff can report material needs in the app, allowing administration to forward this information directly to suppliers without intermediaries. The clear documentation enables precise control and distribution of orders, significantly simplifying internal communication.
The digitization of vacation requests means enormous time savings for D.Weber GmbH. Employees can now submit their vacation requests mobile via PlanD, which are immediately approved or, if necessary, forwarded to the site manager for approval. This process, which previously took up to four weeks, is now completed in just a few clicks.
PlanD enables the D.Weber GmbH team to centrally create assignments and schedules and send changes directly to the mobile devices of cleaning staff. Employees are immediately notified of upcoming shift changes, which significantly simplifies workflows and communication and reduces misunderstandings.
The first few months with PlanD have shown that D.Weber GmbH has found a stable and efficient solution for its daily processes. Looking ahead, the company plans to further expand its digitalization efforts and fully manage payroll through PlanD. This could reduce processing times by more than half and further accelerate monthly payroll runs. With the planned full integration, PlanD will make the company even more flexible and efficient in the coming years, providing optimal support for continuous and sustainable growth.
